Is Firefly still considered a great restaurant?

not to me...

I've only eaten at the one downtown but it was very mediocre. On the plus side, it is a pretty cool room with a nice view down Freemont after dark.

Still worth a try though if you like tapas places.

the one on paradise is pretty good, they have some amazing mojitos, the tapas are good, and the environment is pretty kick ass. I haven't been to the one downtown, but from what I've heard the one downtown isn't as good as the original.

Its a good restaurant with excellent food and a great view. When it comes to Sangria and Tapas there is no other place that beats them on the top. I think theirs' is the best. :)

Updating an old thread: We love tapas and are staying on Paradise -- is it worth the walk (less than a mile) to Firefly, at least for happy hour? Is it worth it without happy hour?

it's worth it just for the sangria

my favorite food item is the manchego mac ‘n’ cheese.

also, they no longer have a downtown location
