Desk Clerk: "That is for the use of the pool, internet, convention space and shuttle."
Wife: "But we didn't use those services, so why should we have to pay for them?"
Desk Clerk: "Well, those amenities were available to you and whether you chose to use them or not is not my problem."
So the husband convinces his wife to just write the check but she shorts the check by $50/night.
Desk Clerk: "Ma'am, the amount on this check is incorrect."
Wife: "The amount is indeed correct. I deducted the charge for sleeping with me each night".
Desk Clerk: "But I didn't sleep with you ANY night".
Wife: "Well I was available to you and whether you chose to use THAT amenity is not MY problem".
Fantasy and reality are the saaaaaame!

Depends on the hotel. Was charged resort fee at Monte Carlo. But no fee at other places.
