PokerAtlas Weekly NJ Online Poker Update: Mar. 29

Posted on Mar 29, 2014

Here's what happened at all the New Jersey online poker sites for the week ending 03/23!

WSOP.com

The $25,000 Weekly Sunday Guarantee occurred on Mar. 23 with 128 players, down ten players from last week. The buy-in was $200 + $15, so it beat the guarantee by a mere $600. It was won by Turb0Licious, who got $7,040.

The $10,000 Weekly Sunday Guarantee, with a buy-in of $100 + $9, got 111 players, down seven players from last week. It beat the guarantee by $1,100. The winner was Regicide, who got $3,108.

Satellites are already running at WSOP-com this week in both New Jersey and Nevada for this summer's live World Series of Poker events, happening in about eight short weeks.

PartyPoker

See below for the major tournament results, as PartyPoker and BorgataPoker share players and all major tournaments. There are separate promotions on each site, so it's still worth playing on both sites, though not at the same time, as the software prevents it.

BorgataPoker

The $50,000 Guaranteed event at Borgata got 304 players, a big dip from 342 last week. It still beat the guarantee by $6,240. The winner was wanda_praiseHIM, who got $11,248.

The incredibly popular $100,000 Guaranteed event is returning tomorrow, March 30. Last time, it beat the guarantee, and it's a safe bet it will do so again.

888 Poker

The "Big Sunday" $10,000 Guaranteed event on 888 happened on Mar. 23, with 52 players, down 4 players from last week. It was won by Bigcakes1111, who got $3,000.

Ultimate Poker

Ultimate Poker runs a $20,000 Sundays guaranteed event. Despite the end of the Noverlay promotion, attendance is picking back up. Last week's event got 130 players, an increase of 11 players from last week. With a buy-in of $91 + $9, this left an overlay of $8,170 on the table. This time, SupaDupaHygh won and got $4,918.

Betfair

Betfair Poker has not grown enough to have large guaranteed tournaments.

Player Numbers

According to PokerScout, Party/Borgata and WSOP continue to have steady tournament growth through the spring and heading into the summer poker action. Ultimate continues to look for more players. The site does not have the ability to measure 888 or Betfair's numbers.
