About Boyd Gaming

License

Boyd Gaming joined the list of Nevada's approved online poker operators after receiving the nod in October 2012.

Company and property

Boyd owns Main Street Station and the California and Fremont hotels in downtown Las Vegas, along with Sam's Town, the Gold Coast, and Suncoast. Boyd also owns a 50% share of Borgata in Atlantic City.

Interactive Gaming Partners

Boyd has inked a deal with bwin.party subsidiary BP Gaming Entertainment for its software development. Bwin.party, the result of a merger between bwin and PartyGaming, operates PartyPoker and has become the largest online gaming company in the world.

Updates

Nevada gaming regulators have yet to approve a service-provider license for bwin.party, which has drawn attention for operating in some international markets and in New Jersey and Delaware. Officials have said, however, that bwin would likely get the OK.
