Ultimate Poker became the first-ever legal online poker site in the United States when it opened its virtual doors in April 2013. Within six months, it already had hosted both live and online tournament series and released a huge software update that added features and gave the software a facelift. Ultimate Poker is nothing if not fast and aggressive.

Ultimate Poker hopes to draw fans from the world's most popular mixed-martial-arts company, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), which is owned by parent company Fertitta Entertainment. Fertitta, which runs the Stations Casinos in and around Las Vegas, founded Ultimate Gaming in 2010.

Ultimate Poker is working with the Trump Taj Mahal in New Jersey to launch the New Jersey version of Ultimate Poker. For now, New Jersey and Nevada do not share players, though this could change eventually.
Rewards Program
Color UP
The Ultimate Poker rewards program, Color UP, features 10 tiers. All but the top two tiers requires a monthly accumulation of points, which are earned by playing raked hands or tournaments, which earns XP points. The top two tiers (Gold and Platinum) are based on the yearly accumulation of XP points. Along with XP points, players earn U-Points. U-Points are earned based on the player's tier level. U-Points can be redeemed for bonuses, merchandise, and other rewards.
