I've been going to the Chumash Casino for years and have enjoyed it most of the time. The old poker room was dark and crowded. But, the newly remodeled space is great. There is lots of light, plenty of space, and the bathrooms and food court are very close.
The daily tournaments are nice and the bigger events pay well. The cash games are good as well.
The only negative is the remote location. Sometimes, if there are fires or rains nearby, it can be hard to reach. The hotel is beautiful, but pricey. I stay at the Days Inn in Buellton to save a pile of cash.
