I played a tournament there and overall the experience was satisfactory.
I come from Europe and I played many tournaments there, I played many tournaments in Vegas so I have base for comparison. Oaks is not Vegas but is definitely not as bad as some other people are describing it.
The dealers and floor staff were knowledgeable and courteous. It was a WSOP qualifier tournament with around 100 participants and it was well managed. The field was relatively soft with few exceptions of more experienced tournament players trying to win a free trip to Vegas.
Like most of the casinos around USA it is mostly focused on cash games and majority of the players were Asian or Hispanic but I don't now how soft are the cash games,
The food section of the casino was full of people but I don't know the quality of the food.
