I recently moved to the area and wanted to find a good place to play. Oceana was the first place I checked out and I didn't feel the need to look any further.
The staff all knew my name the second time I went in and was very friendly. Their tournament structures are better than the local competition. Enough starting chips to not feel too much pressure at the beginning. The blinds raise fast which forces you to think and not get too comfortable though.
The local players are all good people, many of whom also knew my name by my third or fourth visit.
They are going to be remodeling starting in March 2015 and I am looking forward to seeing what they have planned. I've heard that they will be adding a bar area and a private room. They just changed their tournament on Wednesdays adding a bounty and a deep stack tourney which I am looking forward to playing in. Friday's have a high hand bonus for both tourneys and a $20 "aces cracked" bonus at night. They also have a Bad Beat Jackpot for their live games.
I'd definitely recommend stopping by and playing some cards here. They've won me over as a regular for sure.
