Monte Carlo is closing their poker in late April. This is part of the rebranding of the property to become Park MGM.
Bummer! I often stay at the Monte Carlo and always enjoyed the poker room there. Very well run tournaments and ring games. Hope the bean counters have a change of heart.
@Goodshoe I don't think so. As part of the re-branding, they apparently don't feel a poker room is necessary. But of course, they could change their mind somewhere down the road.
This was one of my favorite rooms to play in. Main reason I stayed at the hotel on occasion.
I was very encouraged to find this site. I wanted to thank you for this special read. I definitely savored every little bit of it and I have you bookmarked to check out new stuff you post poker domino | judi poker
Sooo bummed to hear this. Love the room and the friendly people that run it.
That really sucks. I enjoyed playing there too. I will never stay at the Monte Carlo if they don't have poker. That is part of the reason I stayed there sometimes.
I just tried booking a room there since I figured I'll try to play there a lot with it closer but their pool is being renovated so my wife axed that idea.
Hopefully the renovated casino is worth losing some of his current allure.
Here are the details on the room closure, with regards to giving away the promo fund and the comps situation:
Starting Saturday April 1st at 2:45 AM the poker room will stop taking a rake for the promotional drop. All promotions will be stopped at that time. Beginning Monday April 3rd at 12 PM the poker room will offer a high hand of the hour and will give away 1% of the progressive pool ( Roughly $200) they will do this 10 times a day from 12PM to 10 PM for 10 days. This will deplete the progressive pool on April 12th at 11PM.
Comps can be redeemed in the poker room up until April 24th, after that they will need to be redeemed at the Mlife desk located on the casino floor. All poker comps will expire on January 1st, 2018.
