Dilema

I am facing a little bit of a dilemma for my upcoming trip to Vegas. Do I play in the $1000 Bracelet event for the WSOP that starts on June 14 or do I play in a deep stack tournament at the Venetian or Golden Nugget instead? A little background about myself, when I play in tournaments I cash 3 out of 4 times. I am playing within my means financially. Finally, I play a few times a year in Detroit, but due to my heavy work schedule it's difficult for me to play more often. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  1. It depends what your objective is. Have you ever played in a WSOP event? If you haven't I'd say definitely play the WSOP for the experience. If you're looking for a lot of play early to get your money's worth since you don't play often then opt for the Venetian or Nugget. If you're a value finder, then the WSOP is the play bc of the large field size, softness of field, and huge return on investment potential. It's all in what you are looking for.

  2. Are you only able to play in one event ?

  3. @Gamin I am out of respect for my wife. I don't want to ditch her for poker tournaments the whole trip. I also am able to play in a couple of smaller tournaments, but the two I am focusing on are either event 34 in the WSOP or the $600 deep stack at the Venetian. They both start at noon on June 14.
