I have searched high and low for the final results, they are not on the WSOP site, played almost 12 hours, just want to see how it played out. Can anyone point me to the results?.....i was chip leader for most of the day, 1 hand did me in. limped pot, i am the BB with 5 2 blinds are 2k 4k....flop is J 5 2.....i bet 8K...Villain raises to 28, i go to 58, he goes to 100.....hard to put him on a hand, i ship he calls with top set. i lose 80% of my chips. Am i supposed to get away from 2 pair in a limped pot? this is when we were down to 20 left, ...thoughts?

  1. According to WSOP, they only post results for the official ring events. You can check with Horseshoe though as they should have the results available for you.

  2. http://blog.wsop.com/page/3/

On the WSOP page in the LIVE COVERAGE tab you will find the WSOP Circuit Blog. Pages change as more results are posted. Your event is currently located on Page 3. WIth Tahoe Circuit event going on it will continue to move down the BLOG.

Facing a 5 bet post flop...hard to see where you would be ahead, but not being in the situation can make a difference. I assume you had about 30-35bb before the hand....definitely hard to fold once you have half your stack in the pot.

When you bet 8k, what was your plan if he raised...When you 4 bet to 58k...what was your plan if he moved-in?

    Still a good finish...

  3. @Jamie ... Picture on Blog shows a RING for this event.

  4. @birdiemachine my plan was for him to fold, and when he didnt, i just struggled to put him on a hand that i wasn't ahead of...i really tried,i even considered jacks in his range, but couldnt pull the trigger and throw two pair away. I felt that he was more likely playing back at me with a top pair kind of hand. in hindsite, i guess a bad fold is way bettor than a bad call or shove. I had over 85 BB at start of the hand, 70 after my raise to 58.i shoudl have folded. somehow I managed to finish 10 after being whittled down to 4 BB with 15 left. not sure how i did that....

  5. @birdiemachine yeah we knew it was a ring event. softest in the series. thats what makes thsi even harder to swallow.

  6. @perfecone ... I bet you play it better the next time you are in that situation.

  7. @birdiemachine bet your right, thanks
