First trip to Vegas since starting to play alot online. Pretty brutal card luck with people hitting 2 and 3 outers on me consistently, or flopping a monster to have someone have the 1 or 2 nut hands that beat me. Pretty happy to leave just down $50.

Played 30-40 hours of $200 NL, at several different rooms, including the Alladin, MGM, Paris, and Bally's. Also went and saw Bellagio's new room and the Wynn. Both are very nice, both Bellagio and Wynn were freaking packed, didn't want to wait.

Of the four I played, MGM had the nicest room as far as atmosphere and roominess. However, at least at the time I was there, it was the tightest tables. Decided to cut my time there short. Paris/Bally's both had pretty loose players, but usually just 1 NL table running, sometimes not even full. They also spread 2/4 and 3/6 limit, and the players at those games had no clue.

I spent most of my time at the Alladin, usually many games going and soft games typically. Pretty easy to spot the few sharks and avoid them. First night they had 3-4 $200 games going, and were also spreading a $500 game.

No complaints about the dealers anywhere or service, all were good. Floor at the Alladin was very jovial and friendly - also saw several of their high hand jackpots hit (they pay out quads and any str8 flush).

Fun trip - hope to play at Bellagio/Wynn next time, but I'll likely be back at Alladin for the fish. ;)
