I was staying at Paris hotel and planning on playing poker and since Bally's was a walk away i tried it, when I arrived it was friday night and they had three tables empty, had my name put down for a 1/2 limit Holdem, and sat at one of the empty tables to wait and people started to sit around the table and the manager started the game with out hesitation.
The poker room is quaint, nothing to wow about, but for a first time player not intimidating, tables are new, the dealers, like they said previously friendly but starters, the people are basically all very new to the game and money to toss around, I was seated in front of two ladies whom both bought in with 100dlls each and I was starting out with 50 dlls and tought to my self I am in trouble, and lasted 4 hours before losing all my chips, had a couple of monster hands, but this guy was just so lucky and the river saved him from my hands about 5 times, but basically I tought its a nice place to try out for a beginner and latter rake in some money to move to a more prestigious poker rooms eg MGM
Drinks, the room is next to the bar so the drink lady ( older but very friendly) would bring you drink after drink even before you finished the previous one, so If you want to get hammered, like a guy did in 1hr it the place to be.
I would go back to rake some money before going to a more unfriendly poker room.
All people where turists and very friendly
