I started out playing 2-4 holdem at Luxor. Played 3 sessions there the first day and a half. I will never return to that room. I found the room poorly run, poorly controlled and the dealers were awful. It was dark and crowded. We moved over to Mandalay Bay for the rest of the trip except 1 session at Mirage. The Mandalay Bay was a well run room and very comfortable. The dealers were very good. The action at Mandalay Bay was very fast even for low limits (4-8). The competition was not too tough and fairly easy to beat. The Mirage room was well run, dealers very good but more importantly the players seemed to be much tougher even at 3-6 limit. The session I played was very tight and difficult to make money.

As far tournaments go...Since I am not a big no limit player, I only played three. The first was at the Luxor...DONT PLAY TOURNEYs there, it might as well been a coin flip. The blind structures were so aggressive that you had to play a lot of hands and get lucky.

The 6PM nightly at Mandalay Bay was much better (limited to 30 players). I played it twice, winning it once. The structure was much better and you could be more patient. The tourney I won lasted about 2 1/2 hours.

In summary, avoid the Luxor. The Mandalay Bay was excellent and fairly easy, the Mirage was a good room but seemed much tougher.
