So my buddy and I got into Vegas on the 10th at 10:00 am. We wanted a LOOOOOOONG 3 day weekend so we flew in early and weren't leaving until Sunday night at 11:58pm.

We checked into Bally's and headed over to the MGM to check out its much ballyhood room. We were not dissapointed. Easy going and friendly management bumped us to the front of the 2/4 line since no one was showing up and we gotta seated right away.

This might sound lame but we were going to split any winnings so as to each have a good time. No collusion, but I figured how fun would it be if one of us made some money and the other was broke.

We were seated at different tables so any thoughts you might have about cheating should now leave your head. Anyways, the 2/4 was loose and fast, but by playing smart and getting lucky a couple of times I came out $+200 in about 4 hours.

My buddy did not do so well. we hit Tabu that night than the Rum Jungle, met some nice ladies and than went back to the room.

The next day we played in the Sahara 40+20 at 10:00 am. Great tournament. Yeah the room is crappy and the tables and chips were old but the management was top notch and friendly. I made it to the final table, took a couple of bad beats but made it to the final four.

I was running real short stacked and made a stab on the button with Q10h but was busted by J4o when the jack hit the turn. Oh well, I pocketed 200 and was on my way.

That night we went to PURE, the rocken new club at Ceasars and got a VIP table and were treated like kings. Met Lisa Marie Presley and had my cigarettes lit for me all night by our waitress without even asking. Finished off two bottles of Grey Goose with about 20 different girls and was down $1200 OUCH. No bad beats though, I had a nice 33-year-old chick follow me back to Ballys... (I'm 22 by the way).

Anyways I would STRONGLY recommend spending the extra money on the table service, its second to none. Anyways on Sunday went back to the MGM, broke even, got wasted than flew home. What a fun weekend.
