Checked in the Mirage 2/15-2/18.Loved the poker room here. Immediately entered 70$sng.Also immediately figured out which player was gonna get me! Some Drunk splashing pot, raising not enough etc. keeps everyone on edge. After about 1/2hr im in BB no raise 6/9 os. catch top pair, so i bet my 9's get reraised by Drunk. So i move allin in behind him. He callswith pocket 3's and then turns one ,next card-SOL. Oh well ill give it another try tomorrow.
2/16-Played 9:30am Paris Tourney. Great host and dealers here , but room is boring. Make my way to final table about to make the money with middle stack when i get JJ in the hole, 1 limper in front,so i move allin. Get called only by the BB and chip leader! Hes holding 10's, and everyone at the table tells me you gotta love that!"you have him dominated" Im told 3 times. Flop 7-8-9 and suddenly hes open ended, so next up I pick trips on the turn and head back to the Mirage. Awesome, some thing just arent meant to be.
2/17-Played Caesars 12pm 100$ Tourney. This is absolutely the best tourney experience i have ever had. And well run.40 min Blinds ,500chips massages, food menu, grat waitress etc. If you can play in 1 tourney and dont like the "rolling the dice" feeling of most vegas tourneys ,dont miss this one. Now lets get back to misery.After about 4hrs of play and into the top 50 out of 100,I was moved to a table that didnt fit my style- loose fish catchin cards.Raise in front of me with A/Qs, so i call the raise. one more caller behind me. Flop A-10-2, get bet into ,call the bet ,then all in behind me. Myself and other player call all-in and check it down. Turn is 7 river is 8. Player in front has A/J-GREAT!! oh but "allin guy" has A/7-WHAT!!!!So anyway now im short stacked 15min later A/Ks-so I raise. Get called by "allin guy" flop A-K-5, so i move all-in.Get called with poket 9's-WHAT!!!. You guessed it "another turn for the worse"-9!!!!
3 days ,3 tourneys and 3 terrible turns, or maybe 4 ,but whos counting. I still had a greatr time though ,and wife bailed me with slot play.
