Me and five of my friends made a trip out to Vegas finally. I checked out a bunch of the poker rooms that i have seen on this site and i want to thank everyone for their insight as it was helpful during my trip. We stayed downtown at the Golden Nugget, I played about a 5 hour session on the 4/8 table and ended up down about 100 bucks after playing with drunks that called pretty much anything.
I played in the $70 Binions tournament, it had about 70 players and i believe i was the 2nd to go out, as I had A/K back to back hands and lost with it to AJ and A10 respectively. After this tourney i didnt feel like playing too much poker as my confidence was down. That is until we went over to the Bellagio to see some of the WPT Championship, and i met my idol - Mr. Phil Ivey. He was nice enough to give me a picture opportunity on a break. Really nice guy and it made my trip memorable, after that I caught fire as I played about a 7 hour session on a 4/8 table at the MGM Grand that night and made about 325 dollars. The next day i ended up entering the $60 golden nugget tournament and ended up finishing 12th place, only 7 placed but felt i played very well. Until our next trip....
