Started out on day one with around eight hours of play at the Monte Carlo. As far as the room went it was very nice. The play was a good pace but a very tough table. The action was fast and the bets were aggressive. I was playing the 1-2 no limit table with mostly locals and rounders. I was able to take a nice pot every hour or so but had to sweat a lot of pots in between. Did not seem to be a good room for beginners. Most of the people at the table new the dealers and new each other. Left up one hundred dollars had to work for it.

Second day played a tournement at the Aladdin. The tourney was horrible, people playing very aggressive to get up quick and mostly chasers and bad hands. I was drawn out on three times in the first hour and went out in the second hour with a 4 to 1 favored hand. Left the tourney and went to the 1-2 no limit table just starting up. Mostly locals and dealers on the table but playable. I was able to take several big pots in the first hour and played tight from then on out. I also hit a quad jack jackpot which paid $266.00. I left that day up $700.00 up not including the jackpot amount.

Third day I went to the MGM Grand. What a nice poker room. Very cool and hip but the play was a little odd. The dealers were very up-tight and made for a nervous atmosphere. Very little talk in the room and not as friendly as at the Aladdin. Played for a couple of hours and was not able to make a lot of money. The play was odd and when they crank up the music in the bar next door it is very hard to hear.

Left quickly and went back to the Aladdin where I made money again quickly. The same guys as the day before were at the table give or take a few. Overall still the same atmosphere and same play as the day before at the Aladdin. I would spend the rest of my trip at the aladdin and left Vegas up almost $2000.00.

I would recommend the Aladdin to anyone going to play serious no-limit action games. The drinks are good, the waitress was pretty and the dealers were very cool and fun. Conversation was polite at all times and most of the players were knowledgeable. Don't play the tourneys but play the cash tables. Play tight and you will be fine.

On a side note, I stayed at the Bellagio and went by the room a couple of times to check things out. Major tourney was going on so I did not play the room, but here are the poker players in the room when I went by. In Bobby's room playing were T.J. Cloutiea (sp.), Phil Ivey, Gus Hansen, Paul Darden, and Antonio Esfandiari.
