took another trip with the wife to play some poker and have fun while she worked. Arrived in LV 3pm on sun 8/27.

Was playing 1-2nl at The Venetian by 430pm. Bought in for max($200) and was up to $340 within 15min. when table busts and i get moved w/ 2 others to fill another table. As soon as i sit player to my left asks how I'm doing and I say fine and ask him same; no lie, he says he's on crack. Everyone at table is laughing, in cluding dealer and floorman just behind and I start to think he's might not be kidding. i fold a few hands and then in my BB player on left(crackhead) says "live straddle" and makes it $12. 4 people called and i look at QQ, knowing he's gonna raise ,i just call. sure enough he says $60, everyone else folds and I say I'm all in and he insta calls showing, of course, 6-7off. suprisingly I hold up and almost double up(he had less than me). CRACKHEAD donks off at least $600 more over next 45min before he leaves. i win a couple small pots and leave plus$380 for a 1-1/2 hr session.

I get a quick bite to eat and head over to TI to play their $60 7pm tourney. poker room was slammed and was told there would be no tourney. I thought I only had 5min to get to Harrahs for their &pm $100 tourney but found out it was 730. played 1-2nl for 1/2hr and was plus$60. Ended up chopping tourney(23 entrants) when it got to heads up even though I was C.L. because it was move in poker at that point.(play throughout was so amateurish I wasn't even proud) I even gave kid $40 to claim 1st since harrahs makes winner fill out w-2. Still ended up w/$600 after tip so not a bad first night in vegas.

Happy after my first day I was excited to go to Ceasars on mon. for much talked about Noon tourney. only 50 plus entrants since it was a mon. but I could tell there was a lot of decent players in this room. I really never got a chance to do too much in this tourney being both card dead and I guess and obvious mark I finally went all in in level 5 for my last T$2700 w/ 99 only to run into aa. 9 on flop gave me hope but a on turn ended it for me w/ no case 9. Thought I was a little in over my head at that spot.

Went right over to Venetian to play 1-2nl again and while it was a little crazy it was not like Sun. My first hand i limped w/KQ off and took flop 6 handed. flopped rainbow broadway and smooth called $15 in pos. smooth called $30 on turn as there was no flush draw. player checked river to me and i fired out $85 sloppily trying to sell a play. player waited for about 3min. shaking his head several times. finaaly said i don't think u got it but i fold,showing A-9 as he does. oh well that didn't work. Actually ran my stack up to about $700 with a couple of nice plays/big hands but only cahed out up$220 after making some horrible plays with draws and two pair etc... It was still nice to have another wining session after disappointing day at C.P.....

Didn't play again till next morning at The Venetian again when i went there at 1030am to play1-2 again. I played at the only1-2 table going 6 handed for about an hour only making$75 when another player told me I should play their(Venetian) Noon tourney. After goung to sportsbook I decided to give it a try. Again only 5 tables with a couple of alternates. Structure not as good as C.P. but still better than most T$4000 if u do RB and dealer bonus($5). Again thought I was a little out of my league when I couldn't get any thing going.

Folded forever until I looked At TT on button with about T$2500 left and went all in. Original raiser had to call me with J10s and hit a J on flop and C-Ya for me. I was very disappointed again even though I was still freerollin for trip so far. Got very wasted that night with wife at Hard Rock(free party)and didn't even think about cards......

Last day In vegas was wed. and wanted to end on high note so I went to T.I. to play 11am($60) since I thought it was more my level of play since I won same tourney last time (may)there. tourney starded 10 min late with 25 players. first 15 min i was card dead mostly and only saw 1 flop. Play was not all that impressive overall. In bb with 2min. left in level 1 I look at AKs, with 5 limpers i decide to thin the field and make it $350 to go. All 5 called! It was level 1! A hits flop and me an another player get it all in. he has A-9off and wins when a 9 hits turn. Dumb founded still that 5 limpers called 7xBB i can't even belieive I just played that tourney. Steaming I decide to to wherelse but the Venetian to play 1-2. They have no 1-2 table going at that time and I don't know what to do with myself.

I really don't even want to play poker right now but its my last day so i talk myself into playing Noon tourney again. first 2 levels I am getting nothing but A-rag at best but don't play a single hand until i get AA on button early in level 3. I make standard raise of 3xBB and get 2 callers. J-10-7 on flop and BB goes all in and i call. he shows A-10 and my hand holds for a nice double up. very next hand I limp with K-10s and we take flop 5 handed. I flop nut flush and smooth caall three bets in front of me. turn is another dianond and can't beleieve three people bet in front of me again so i call. river was a blank and I laugh when all three players go all in. I turn over hand and nobody else even shows what they had and they all leave since i had them all covered. Player across from says I don't even think they realised you were in the hand and thats only the second hand you've played. Next 2 levels I see 0 flops since no one will play with me and I am just stealing antes and blinds like crazy. I get moved to new table and procceed to bust 3 people in first 3 hands at table with a set of deuces,AA again againstQQ(guy was second in chips) and my 55 againstA-Jo preflop. TD says I have over half chios in play with 21 people left(started with52). I cruise to a win right? Not really, I make final table 9 handed only 3rd in chips.

First hand one girl knocked out 3 players so now I'm 4th out of 6th and only 5 get paid. Guy who is second in chips said lets make deal so bubble pays and chipleader is only holdout. Guess who went out 6th? Not me but that C.L. who wouldn't make deal. I actually do end up winning even though I got 2 consecutive walks in BB with AA. I guess it was just my day afterall. 1st payed 1390 for my biggest ever win so thanks to those retards who played at T.I. Rest of night played table games and won anoyher$500 and bet against my Red Sox every night to make some $ off that misery.
