Got to Vegas on Monday and first stop was MGM Played in 2/4 game and found competition very good. Too good in fact. Was down around $100 for the session. Got up the next morning and headed for their tourny. It was limited to 60 players but they took alternates. Once a person was busted out an alternate came in with the same starting money as everyone else. Ended up we had 97 players that day. Found out later the locals sign up late just for this reason. Got beat after about 2 hours of up and down play. So I then went over to the Excalibur. Had a blast there. Got on to a 2/6 spread game and just had a great time. I even got 4 kings one hand and got to spin the wheel.Got a triple and then $35 for a total of $210. Had their poker room buffet and it was very good. That night was Chinese. Next stop was Mandalay Bay for the morning tourny. 30 player freeze out. I ended up 3rd for a grand total of $100. Not alot but fun. Last stop was Harrah's. Played 3/6 limited games mostly . The Dealers were great as were the room Managers. Only problem I had was there were too many people getting quite drunk as the day wore on.They need a better handle on this. Had one older gentleman tell me I was never going to win any money. Well I saw him buy at least 6 racks in a 4 hour session and I still had mine +. All in all I had a great time playing and ended up ahead about $300 for the 6 days.Oh yea did play in Harrah's tourney and got to the final 16 players before getting my AA busted by 888 on the river. That tourney pays on an average of $1600 for first and down to 6th place.
