Stayed at Ballys for 6 nights played poker most of the time there. I limited most of my sessions to 1.5 to 2 hours. First day at Ballys sat down at the 2 4 table walked away 50 bucks up.
Next day wend morning walked to Luxor, Dont make that walk it sucks, I sat down at the 2 4 table had ace 10 off suit in the big blind 4 players in. The flop comes 10 ace 7 top 2 pair for me wooo hooo I bet guy raises I reraise he calls turn comes I bet guy calles river card comes i bet he calls good thing the idiot didnt raise me on the turn or river he had pocket aces dont know what he thought i had. Played in the $25 dollar tourny it also sucked. The tournament starts out a limit game 10 15 blinds with 300 dollars. I was short stacked after the next blind level got King Queen flop comes rainbow with a king I bet 2 players call turn doesnt help I bet 1 player calls river is a 6 asshole catches his king six off suit to put me out. Jump to the no limit table 50 min 50 max. I catch pocket aces with $20 left i go all in the whole table calls and I think some guy at the craps table came over to call as well. flop come low but had a five to trip up a guys pocket 5s. Left the luxor dumped a couple houndred in the slots at MGM on my way to the monorail. Get to the ticket booth and a lady working there comes running out to inform everyone they have to shut down for a hour. I had a few choice words that i said out loud.
Next day little bit of 2 4 at Orleans didnt do bad once agian 50 up. Next day thurs played nolimit at Ballys won $ 60 and walked. Played 2 4 lost ablut 50. On fri I went down stairs in Ballys about 6 in the morning waled in the poker room a 24 game going and a nolimit game with a bunch of shady dudes. I walked by the nolimit table they asked if I was going to play, I said i didnt know, they said we have to check your blood-alcohol level. Me being sober as can be i say ill be right over. Bought in for 100 the table is 100 min 200 max 1 2 blinds. Couple hands in I catch pocket kings and bet 15 preflop everyone calls flop comes low i bet 50 2 people call turn comes im all in for 35 more and one person calls river comes he misses his gut shot straight with 10 9 off suit. One hand later 2 guys start arguing about barry sanders and how detroit sucks one guy goes all in for 100 without lookin at his cards the other guy calls without lookin. They turn over there cards on guys has the great hand of 10 9 off suit same guy who called my all in next guy flips the awsome hand of 7 3 off suit. The board has a 3 and the great 7 3 off holds up. Later on im in the big blind no raise preflop with 7 2 off go to muck and the dealer informs me im in allready opps. The flop is 7 7 king one guy checks I check and the guy who won with 7 3 off suit bets 50 dollars into a 6 dollar pot next guy folds I figure ill go all in he'll call. But no luck he shows the jack 2 off suit he was trying to bluff with into a 6 dollar pot.
Next day sat in the Flamingo played with a guy who catchs quads 3 times. I also had a great hand there. I had pocket 6 6 and the flop comes with all spades including my 6 i bet the guy next to me raises, this is his first hand in the game, I know he has the flush but i call hopin for the board to pair well the river did better another 6 got my quads. The old guy gets up grabs his chips and says "NO BODY DOES THAT TO ME" and leaves. Had a session at palace station that night walked out even.
Next day a little poker at binions lose 50 bucks on pocket kings and pocket tens back to back and leave. Later theat evening my wife has here camera and cell phone stolen from sam boyds casino on freemont. Actually got it back after the idiot that stole it used the cell phone and racked up 100 minutes, Dumb ass for using it.
Played a little more 2 4 the next two days made a few bucks that i lost in the slots. Had a great time playing poker in VEGAS. Oh by the way Ballys doesnt have any jackpots so dont expect to be playin agianst locals and the luxor has alot of prop players. Which are dealers playing for hourly pay with there own money.
