This weekend, I made my first attempt at the Bellagio 30/60 limit hold'em game. After losing two $1000 buyins, I left happy. I played ok; but I made many mistakes and was unlucky enough to have three sets get busted. That doesn't really matter so much as the fact that even at that level, there are people who just play hold'em by trying to catch cards and get lucky. Morevoer, I actually learned some new plays from the game. Once I build my bankroll back up, I'll definitely take another stab and keep doing so until I can hang on.

MGM was fantastic as always. The facilities are great. Sometimes the drink service is way too slow, but that's the way most places are.
