I started out my trip at the stratoshpere where I was staying for a few nights. I took 5th in a $22 buy in with a 20 rebuy, but 5th place only netted $88. With about 66 players it was a nice tournament with lousy dealers, but the place is new so no hard feelings.

I played in 1/2 200 max buy in at the mirage and cleaned up for 3 consecutive nights totaling approx $800. Dealers were very friendly, with the exception of the older gentleman with hairy ears who was a real jerk to everyone at the table.

I also ventured over to the bellagio to get a glimpse at some of the tv stars. i sat down at a 2/5 no limit with 200 max buy in and was dealt AK on first hand and was attempted to be bullied around and ended up doubling up on first hand. Then i landed AA which i re-raised a 20 raise and was called for an all in which i politely did so and netted another 150. then i was dealt AK suited again and went into a flop with a player for a 50 dollar raise where two of my suits fell on the board, but a rest of garbage, where the player went all in for 300$ which i called, and my AK suited with 15 outs didnt hit. so i left the table a hand later up 50 dollars....but i made friends with some of the locals at the table and sure enough the guy asked phil ivey if i could get my picture with him which he politely obliged. A GREAT TRIP TO TELL THE FRIENDS!
