Got in on 4/20 right b/f midnight. Went to play 1/2 NL @ MGM. buy in, 40 min, 200 max. i bought in for 200. table was pretty good and agressive. i was having no luck, ace king, ace queen and hitting nothing, tried to protect my raise and got caught. then i had aa, raised to 12 under the gun, the guy to the left (playing like a fish prior) reraises to 64 (50 raise) and everyone fold till the big blind who goes all in for a total of 130. I go allin cuz i have him covered and get the guy to my left in for a total 155. so there is a small side pot with three allin b/f flop. the big blind had kk. jj guy flops a j, i turn an a and the rest is history. total pot was around 450, of which 155 was mine, so 295 of other peoples money. played another few hours and ended up alittle over 200.
got some sleep and played at tourney at rio 4/21. good structure, 40 gets u 1500 in chips, 25/50 to start, blinds up every 20. one rebuy for good for 1st 4 rounds, 40 gets you 1500. finshed middle of the pack both days.
4/21 Bally's had some fish, i played in the afternoon, maybe that was why but i ran the table. 1/2nl 100 max. lost my cool when i had aa and raised b/f the flop and got called by the button who had 2/5o and floped two pair. i doubled him up. but not to worry, i got it all back plus more from his pocket. there was one hand where i raised pre flop with aj suited and he was the only one to call me. the flop was rags with two dimonds, i bet, he calls, turn is j of dimonds and i bet 50, he calls again. i figure i'm beat and that sux, river comes another dimond. 4 on board, the pot is over 170. im screwed so i figure bet 50. he calls and shows, or reraises and i fold. i think i could get a cheap look at the pot. THIS GUY FOLDED, what the hell did he have, guy figured i had the nuts, i still would have called the 50 to see, 170 in the pot. ended up 350 for the tour.
4/21 Played at MGM later that day and lost 25 in the 1/2nl. would have lost more but doubled up on kk when i rerasied a $15 pre fold raise to 80 allin. the guy to the left calls, and the tight girl (play and looking) who raised folds. i don't flip over my hand and either does the other guy. five cards, one of which is an ace and he states "I was on a bluff" Bluff call, what the hell is that, i was all in. i flip kk and rake in the pot. callit a night and go VIP @ studio 54 (unbelieveable)
4/22, last day, leaft sunday. played at MGM was had a bad tour, lost 200 over 4 hours. table was somewhat tough, few big stacks near a G. i played well, maybe too tight, laid down two winners. but since i was up i wasn't too mad. the table was fun and had alot of personality. flirted around 70 to 90 for awhile, tried to double up with pocket 8's vs a loose drunk clown who raised preflop with kq, i went all in and lost when he floped a q. oh well.
4/23 @ 500 in the morn. killing time b/f my flight, softest table i played at MGM. played tight and was rewarded by stealing some pots with semi buffs, which allowed to call a 12 raise with 8,9 hearts, flopped a set and big stack kept betting with slick the whole way, i reraised all in after the river and he folded, took down a nice pot. only played for 3 hours and cashed out over 200.
so 750 winnings in cash games, 160 lost in two tourneys, 225 lost in cash games. plus 365 for the trip.
