went to vegas for a slot tourney 3/3 thru 3/10 all comped by the tropicana.room all comped by the trop for previous years of slot play there.this trip after a couple years of home play and online success i decided to play more poker in vegas.1 st game i tried was 1/2 nl at the tropicana.the room is small and cant keep more than 1 or 2 games going most of the time.but the games were easy and fun won 500 here in about 15 hrs of play.tourney at 11 each day and decent payouts usally 20 or 30 runners for this.played tourney at luxor .i bought in for 62 dollars and didnt ask about the structure.got to table and was handed 2 green and 4 black chips.400 in chips what?geez what a joke dont play this one.no way to play with 400 in starting chips.tried mgm.the mgm was great several different games offered.nice feel to room lots of easy players here.sure the suckouts would come but being called to the river with the nuts more than make up for the bad beats.the only negative about the mgm is its next to the bar and loud music so depending on your table you could hardly here table talk.but when involved in a hand it all seemed to go away,lol.in closing of the 3 mentioned i would recommend the mgm.and also want to say i love this site.its the best most informative poker room site ive found.love reading everyone input and will study this site more b4 making next trip in may.thnx to all who post and those who run the site keep up the good work.
