Stayed at Excalibur and opened the trip Friday night with some $1-$3 poker. This particular table was unusually tight except one player who like raising every hand it seemed even with complete junk. Patience was rewarded with this player time and again. Otherwise, only really solid hands were winning. As a result, I tightened up my play and walked away a winner.

Saturday, after enjoying the buffet at Aladdin, I sat down there for some $2-$4 and really found I liked the room. They removed the slots out of the room which was nice. Aladdin also offers a high hand jackpot starting at 4 deuces going all the way up to suited royal flushes. A guy in the room won one of them with quads of some sort. Dealers were very good with the exception of one. This one was kind of a jerk and had the only misdeals while there. Lots of cowboys at the table raising left and right and patience again paid off with another winning session.

Sunday I was able to sit down for a few hours at Excalibur at a $2-$6 table. Action was fast and furious with alot of preflop raises and reraises...in fact raising was all the rage even post flop. Pots were big and the cowboys here were taking down pots with real weak hands that were made, alot of times on the river. I ended up winning a huge pot after going all in with my last chips and my hand held up. After that I was able to win a few more hands and ended up for that session. This particular table had a 1/2 kill on it which raises the spreads if a player won 2 straight hands. Not sure if I like this style or not. Action was a bit crazier than I liked it to be but I will definitely try it out again.

I have played Excalibur previously and like their room. I am adding Aladdin to the rooms I like. Very nice room although it gets loud when the music upstairs starts pumping.

Will be trying out Monte Carlo and Rio in May. Can't wait.
