FAREWELL SESSION AT THE STARDUST
Wanted to visit the Stardust just for sentimental reasons, as they are closing on Halloween. Played in the 3-6 limit. Not a lot of action or excitement going on. I guess everyone there that day was on their on sentimental journey and not looking to make any bucks at the table.
Took a jaunt over to Circus Circus. Yes, yes, I know this is on the other end of the spectrum to be included with Wynn and the Venetian. It's just that there is so much "easy money" to be won over there that, I can't resist the urge to drop in for a quick "hit and run". Played for about 2 hours and left with $100. I guess it's like eating peanuts---once you start, you can't stop. Guess I shouldn't brag about being so mercenary. I left the clown for the upper crust of the atmosphere of the Wynn. The type of play there is indicative to the settings. Need to shift gears drastically after playing with the folks at Circus Circus. Left the Wynn with a small profit. Made one more stop at the Venetian before ending my trip. I really like the roominess of the tables. Fortunately for me, the casino's "aroma therapy" has not bothered me yet, so I can't complain about that. Again, the quality of play is on a higher level. Tables consisted of a variety of playing styles. Be careful when you pick and choose your spots to take a stand. There seems to be more aggressive play at the Wynn than at the Venetian. Or maybe that was the luck of the table that I was sitting at. Ended up only a few $$ ahead for the trip.
I enjoy reading all of the reports. Hope this site continues for a long time.
