First time in Vegas
Got there on a thursday nite. Staying at Harrah's so decided to go play some. Not very crowded about 4 tables going. Sat down at 1/2NLHE never caught a great hand except flopping trips on the small blind. Got impatient and decided to raise with rags(bad move) played it strong but went up against a calling station that ended up having JJ. Lost all my money there.
Later that nite went to Caesars to play. Caesars is pretty nice it was 2am and the waittresses were as old as my grandmother. Sat down at the 1/2NLHE table. Started playing good everyone was nice and friendly. So i get K10 on spade. The Flop comes Q J 10 all spades. One guy comes out betting, I raise him all in other guy folds. Guy turns over K 9 the nine is a spade. Lose my whole stack on that pot. tired and go to bed.
Next morning try to get to tournamtne at Bally's but dont make it in time. So go back to Harrahs 1/2 NLHE game. Playing with a bunch of loosey gooseys. Lose my whole stack in about an hour to junk everytime(people calling 20 dollar raises with 7 9 off).
Later that day go to Paris to play. Sit down at 1/2NLHE again. Again playing with guys who love to gamble. Yet again get ran down on a flush draw to lose all my money. Rebuy and go all in with AJ suited and lose to K9. Not having much luck. Go back to Paris a few hours later and start getting some good action and good cards. Get AK off suit and Flop a A i move all in and again go in having the best hand all to lose to runner/runner guy with AJ to catch a straight. So im ready to flip the table right now.
Decide to take a break and dont play until saturday afternoon at Caesars again. I have to say although i had no luck here i like there room. Sit down with $100 at 1/2 NLHE while waiting to play $60 sit and go. Get some solid hands and Im up 80 bucks. Get dealt KK in late position First position raises to 15 i reraise to 50 he reraises to 100 i reraise all in get two callers and what u know, One guy turns over AA and the other has QQ. $$500 pot flop come Q J 10 and QQ wins unbelievable. It took me 3 days to understand that you gotta step it up a lil cause the guys that sit at the 1/2 NL table will call any raise with any cards. But even though i lost my ass I had a great time just played with terrible players that love to run you down. Good luck to everyone.
