Professional staff, friendly and eager to get people seated and in a game. Lots of seniors play here. Lots of middle agers too.

The atmosphere at Flamingo was decidedly subdued. Very business-like, and matter of fact. A couple of the dealers were all business, almost to a fault. Seems like they were a little up-tight about keeping the game moving at a frantic pace. Personally, I would have preferred a more leisurely time. After all, for most of us, visiting Vegas is a vacation. However, they attract good players, and some serious folk with their daily tournament - $55 buy-in, No-limit, $1,000 in play chips. Top 3 finishers make good money. First is over $700, second around $400, and 3rd + $100. Only 30 players are seated (3 tables).

Before and after the daily events, some of the participating players naturally play in the 2-4 Limit games that are ongoing. So their style is understandably 'serious.'

If you want to play in a no-nonsense atmosphere, this is a good place to visit.
