Arrived on Saturday night July 9th... had a great flight and I knwo this trip would be profitable... PLayed in the 11:00 am Harrah's Tourney on Sunday. I twas $40 + $40 rebuy... 67 entrants.. got some great cards. Had Aces thre times and they held up all three times.. As people were getting eliminated they were shuffling players around and I ended up at a table with my Brother and Brother-in-law, both of which are decent players.. There was about 25 people left and we played.. My second hand in I knocked out two players when I spiked a 2 outer on the river to fill up.. Let me put this in prospective. I girl to left rased all in for about $2000 and the big blind was already all in with $700. I went over the top of her all in with my AQ suited.. Everyone else folded.. BB turns over Q4 suited and the girl has A2 off.. The flop comes A-2-8 and I am behind.. turn in another A and the river is a beautiful Queen for by house....On the very next hand, I was dealt AK suited and the my brother-in-law in early positions raises to $2500.. All folds to me and I go over the top of him all in for about $10000. He mucks hs cards and says nice way to play your BIG SLICK SUITED... This had people at the table talking since they weren't to happy to have three people that knew each other at the table.. I was moved shortly after and and was brought back for the final table.. My brother was out in 11th place and my Brother-in-law went out in tenth... I was finally knoocked out in 5th when my A6 diamonds was out drawn by kj off...not too bad to win $300 for an $80 tourney.....

I was knocked out early at the Binions tourney that night but since it was like a free roll with Harrahs money I didn't care..

Played the 2-6 cash game at Excaliber and if your have read my previous trip report this is going to sound similar... Started with $100 and was down early, then went on a run that people only dream of... I caught straights and houses left and right..I even had QUADs once to spin the wheel.. I was up money so I was calling $4 preflop with 92 suited and katching 2 pair.. I had to have my Brother and Brother-in-law watch as I walked out of there. I was afraid some guys may want to meet me in the parking lot.... I left up $200 for about 2 hours of work..

With an hour and a half before I left we were at Bally's and there were some open seats playing no limit.. I bought in for $200 and I sat down.. nothing too big happening in the early hands I was up like $10 then was dealt 56 spades in the big blind. guy next to me raises to $10 and there are 6 callers I have odds now so I call the 10 to see a flop.. Flop somes 4c-7d-9d. what a great flop for me. I have an open ended draw, a flush draw and a straight flush draw... I bet out $20 and the raiser goes over the top of me for $40 more. every one folds and I am stuck with a decision.... I decided to shove all in and see what happens.. (I put in on I high pair, trips or a higher flush draw. Of which I was only frightened if he has a higher flush draw since I would be a head with the other options..) He flips over 10-10 and the turn brings a nice looking 8 of diamonds... I hit my straight and I am ready to count my money.... Except for the F***** river... The river brought a jack and a higher straight for him and I was done...

All in all I had a fun trip and look forward to going back in 2-3 months....It always helps when you go with $70 in your wallet and don't have to make any trips to the ATM....
