Half a week in Vegas
Arrived in Vegas on Wednesday around 12 noon, go to the Riviera to meet up with my buddy who is stil playing Pool for the day. Decide to give their room a go. 2/4 or 1/2 no limit, thats it. I bought in at their 2/4 limit game for $60 and it was gone in in about a half hour. This room is very poorly managed, dirnk service is non exsistant, and the quality of player there is horrable. Walked over the the Circus Circus, plaied in their 3/6 game, bought in for $60, cashed out $110, not bad for an hour and a half of play. The CC is a dump, smels very bad of somehting I cant explain, however they make up for it with great cocktail service, my drink never went empty. Met up with my buddy, and we head over to the Wynn. YES! Ladies and gentleman this is a card room! Laid out very nicely, the most comfortabe I have ever been in a card room, adjustable height chairs that swivel (sp?) and cocktail waitress' that would hunmble any man. I was greeted with a smile, and had to wait a whole 5 minutes for a table.
After that we decided to go to the sahara. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT PLAY HERE. Everyone is yelling, Why is everyone yelling???? I felt like i was at a greek family dinner. not to mention the floor person, broke two 2/4 tables to make a 4/8 game. Made alot of people mad.
All in all it was a fun trip, wish I could have plaied a few turnys, but their were way too many live games going to miss.
