Just wanted to thank the guys that played the mixed game at like 7 in the morning on saturday. It was a blast making some money and playing some badugi. I seriously meant to come back to the TI poker room, but I ended up playing Let It Ride at Bally's and hit TWO four of a kinds in one day! I just didn't make it back to TI. I really did not play as much poker as I planned on playing on this trip.
On a side note, I [censored] you not, I made it to EVERY casino on the strip and Fremont and got a $1 chip from them all. I only had two poker sessions, one right when I got into town at MGM Grand (pretty nice room, I'm not too crazy about their tables, they seemed really cramped). I made ~$110 playing 4/8 limit for 6-7 hours and drank a TON of beer and liquor. Saturday morning I made ~$150 playing the mixer at TI. Now that I think about it, i played 2/4 for about 30 minutes before getting bored and actually left up about $20 (trip 7s held up with 7 people checking the river with a board showing four to the straight).
This was my 7th trip to Vegas and easily my most enjoyable. I am sad that the trip is over and I'm already back home, but damn it was a whirlwind of a great time. Think about it, in the span of a weekend, I got to play the TI mixed game, hit TWO four of a kinds on Let It Ride, visit EVERY casino on the strip and Fremont and get a $1 chip from them, go 3/3 profitable poker sessions, have a GREAT dinner at Ah Sin with my Uncle and his girlfriend (awesome meal), spend a ton of quality time with my uncle and his girlfriend, stay at 3 different hotels (Motel 6 ---> 4 Queens ---> Paris), play Pai Gow for the first time (i got a straight flush and wasn't playing the bonus [I was lucky enough on the whole trip, I don't care about it], play that somewhat interesting Texas Hold 'Em table game for the first time, play 3 card poker for the first time (hated this game), play blackjack for about 3-4 hours at Binion's on only $30, get my picture taken in front of the Wall of Champions at Binion's, and meet and get my picture taken with NBA All-Star and Team USA member Chris Bosh while waiting in line at the cashier at Wynn, and stare at beautiful women all weekend.
I'm sure I'm leaving out a couple of things -- but I got to experience all of this and come home with $600 than I brought to Vegas!!! Are you kidding me!?!?
You left out that you netted money off of me. You took advantage of a tired and drunk man. Nice work!

It was a pleasure playing with you. The mixed game at 7AM is an exceptional rairty, but I'm glas the usual suspects were all there so it could get going.

Last time I was out to LV in May, an Irish gentleman kept saying that. I had no idea what he was talking about. I didn't understand him most of the time anyway, his accent was very thick. I thought it was an Ireland thing so I'd just nod along.
