Flew from Florida to Vegas for 9 days of poker. You can lose a lot of money playing 30-60 hold'em at the Bellagio when you get good cards cracked. I lost AA 5 out of 6 times. Lost with KK, QQ , Nothing seemed to work. After 3 days I was down $5,000. Day 4 turned things around, I won $6,000 at 1 session which improved my mood. After that I had some pretty good sessions, $4,000, $3,000.
I wanted to see Caesar's and Venetian but no high stakes game there so I played 2-5 NL. Lost $500 at each place so I went down to Wynn and got into 60-100 limit hold'em. Again could not get a decent hand and lost $2,000 so it was back to the Bellagio and won $1,000 in late night session. One guy played every hand and was unbeatable. He had well over $10,000. No one at the table new how to beat him but they sure tried. They tried to bluff him out, dumb,
he never laid down a hand. If they had AK, he had a pair of deuces, If they had one pair, he had two.I was the only one to beat him by waiting for a pocket pair and flopping a set otherwise I didn't play. Anyway, after 9 days I flew home with a lot more money than I brought. I love the 30-60 game at the Bellagio. I just wish the comps were better, but cash is always the best comp.
