I immediately had a good time in Vegas. I landed at 8:00 am and got to Excalibur at 9:00 am. I checked my bags in at the bell hop and wandered to the poker room.

The tourney was just starting when I got there. It was $35, and I was the 3rd alernate. In about 15 minutes I was seated. I tripled up almost immediately. I had pocket 5's and flopped a 5 against AK and 99. That put me in great position to get to the final table.

At the final table I was the short stack. I went all-in twice and was not called. When I was called I had 6-6 which held up against AQ. The last 2 guys had absolutely no idea how to play. I won the tourney when I went all in with AJ and was called by 6-3. Easy $587 win. I tipped the dealers $35, and made my way to the Bellagio.

I played 8-16 for about 6 or 7 hours. I had a great time, making friends and enemies and finishing about 25 up.

I had a bad time at MGM as I lost about $180 or so in about 3 hours. Got called by J-10 off when i had AA. Flop came JJJ and I lost a good chunk.

Rest of the trip I played craps and Pai Gow as well as poker. Ended up about $300 down for the 4 days but I had a helluva fun time. Can't wait to back for my fantasy football league Sept. 1. Let everyone know what happened. See ya!
