Met a bunch of bro’s March 15-20, and played much poker…let me start by stating that the MGM Grand room is the greatest thing ever! Simply a beautiful room with professional dealers and top-notch service! That being said, I only managed to play there Wed night, 4-8 limit game, and had a somewhat chatty table but it never got annoying. Walked after 5+ hours up $200 or so…I was staying at the Paris, and managed to play in their “room” a few times, the run a solid “good” tournament at 9:30 am, Thurs tourney, I was knocked out in the second round on a straight bluff that I got caught in…Friday morning I made it to heads up play due to a 8 on the river that cracked a set of 6’s. The woman that I was heads up with and I decided to chop the prize $$$...I was fine with that; $1000 bucks was a good payday for an admittedly impatient player. In the end, I wish I had continued on, she demanded I be declared the winner due to the higher taxes on the bigger payday…we had some words, in the end it worked out fairly, but poor sportsmanship on her part. I won’t go on and on, but I have to say that the Monte Carlo room is, and has been a great room…The dealers are very professional, and the players are a good mix of skilled, and no skilled…I also played at the Aladdin room, it was sorta makeshift at the time, not bad though…The Luxor room is a complete debacle…no one knows what the hell is going on there, I will never play there again…I think that’s it, I hope some of you who are planning a trip have fun and I hope my contribution is useful.

GOOD LUCK!
