The room at the MGM was loud and full of locals be very careful at the 2-5 tables as the locals appeared to be plentyfull and appear to avoid conflict with each other.

The room at the RIO was very soft. Much to my surprise. I had 2 sessions there and both times I was at a table where people gave chips away. In one case I made a standard raise of $15 at a 2-5 no limit game from the button. The big blind raises to $30 and one joker from middle postion make it $90 to go. Since I had AA and only $240 left I moved all in. Both players called. BB-had KK and middle position had AK. I had the 4th raise you would atleast thing AK goes away. Oh well. It was a big pot and I took the sugar home.

I would also recommed the 6pm tournament at the MGM. If you play tight aggressive you will do well in this tournament. I finished 6th just out of the money when my AQ raised the 1600 BB to 5k and JJ moved all in for my last 8000. No A or Q but that is poker. It appears that the localls stick to cash games and the tourist are playing in the tournament.
