Mostly Tournaments, a little low limit, and less no-limit
Arrived late Thursday night. Went to Bellagio to play 4/8 and sat for 4 hours with some of the worst run of cards I have ever seen. At one point the player to my left, who was the only player left in a hand I was in, asked me not to bet to save myself the money. Great room, fast dringk service, bu ttables are a little tight together.
Played a bunch of the tournaments at Paris - all of their tournaments are $65 buy-in. Made three final tables in fiive tries, but only cashed once. Some really bad players in these, and layers start dropping quickly which is a problem because the players busting out the "newbies" get strong early relative to the rest of the field.
Had a great sitting at 1/2NL at Bally's on Saturday night. Was pusing the table around pretty good, caught 77 in UTG, flop came x7Q, bet out, and BB calls. Turn is another Q, BB checks and so do I, then river is x, BB checks to me, I bet small, maybe $25, and comes over for another $100. I call, and he shows QQ to destry me and also take a high hand jackpot. Came back from that, primarily against one player who seemed to want to give me all of his money, and finished up $400.
Just got home a few hours ahgo, and already itching to go back - just booked my room at Paris for the May trip.
Good luck to all.
