All boys trip so alot of drinking not enough sleeping.

Played the 4/8 limit table at the Rio upon arrival (10p). There was a guy that had a wall of chips (approx. $600) and about 3 locals and the rest were fish like me. Got some good cards so I was up $130 after 3 hours. Just played the top ten hands, mucked everything else. There was this older gentleman in 5th position that was just whining all night because his cards was getting cracked all the time and he was blaming the dealers. Very unprofessional. I saw quads 4 times by a local, luckily I was not involved with the pot. Good opening night.

Played the 9a Paris tournay the next day Friday 03/24/06. First time to play a tourney in Vegas and the manager that was running the tourney was very nice. His name was Mike and he was patient enough to answer all my questions. 40 players with the top 3 getting payed. I made the final table but I was in the big blind (2000) with 6500 chips left after posting went all in with Ah, 10H. Guy calls with QJ os, Jack comes in the flop and nothing else to the river. Knoced out 9th position. But very good experience for a first time tourney.

Played at MGM 4/8 limit for 4 hours. Mixture of locals and baseball hat, sunglasses, ipod wearing kids who thinks they can catch everything at the turn or the river. Best card of the afternoon was pocket J's. Three kids calls me all the way down with garbage. Won a $102 pot with the board showing nothing. Easiest pot I have ever won. But the afternoon was not prifitable due to dead cards. Down $65.

Played at C/P 2/4 limit. Started drinking so was down $180 after 6 hours. Management needs to hire better looking waitstaff. The drinks came by fast and frequent but the ladies were just not pleasant to look at. They must have averaged around 250lbs a piece and ancient (50years or older).

Saturday C/P 12p tourney. What a nice tourney with 130 players starting and about 20 alternates. Everyone at the final table got paid. Came in about 39th. The lcd board was nice, it tells you the time left before the blinds get raised and also showed the number of players left. Had a wonderful 4 1/2 hours. Only gripe is again the waitstaff. They had a lady that had a cape on and she must have been around 275 lbs. she had bigger thighs than me. C/P mangement can do better, they could have used the receptionists (3 the night before that were beautiful).

Played after dinner at MGM (my favorite)4/8 limit for 8 hrs. and was up $350. The tables was a mix of 3 locals ,5 fish (myself included) and 2 drunks. The one to my right was a calling station. I had the big blind and this hand comes ups against him with the flop 6d, 3d, Js. I had Ad & 10D. Drunk makes it 3 bets and I call, everybody folds. Turn gives Kh and I raise, He makes it 2 bets and I just call. Should have muck it here already against anybody else but this guy was just so erractic that I had to call at least to see what the river was. River comes 9d, boom I hit the nut flush so I raise, he reraises me. We go back and forth for 7 bets until finnaly his buddy says "Dude just get it over with he has the Ad". He finnaly just calls me and shows Qd and 2d. He could have doubled me up but his buddy had to say something.

What a fun trip, lots of poker time experience, wish the trip would have been more profitable since I hit two 2team parlays with Zaga and UCLA but otherwise lots of fun.

Advise do not over indulge with the drinks when your playing and do not play C/P for the waitstaff but for the awesome tourney.
