My buddy and I played in $40 a tournament at the Monte Carlo. Nice room, unfortunatly I had no real cards and went out on a bad beat. Played for about 45 minutes, not very satisfying. We had some luck at the cash games.

The place where we did the beast was at the Excalibur. Easy games, lots of green tourists. Plenty of (low stakes) money to be made. Just play tight/aggressive and dont chase too muxch and you should wind up ahead like we did.

We checked out Binions of course, I wish we made time to play. Unfortunatly we stayed on the South Strip and only made a little time for Fremont Street. BTW Fremont Street on a Saturday I believe is now officialy the "Drunken White Trash" center of the Universe. Yikes !! Although I highly recomend the deep fried twinkees. No lie, its not as bad as you would think.
