AVP Michael please make sure Danette @ TI gets another AVP chip since i got hers as we were unclear if you and i would meet and she is so gracious gave me hers and remembered my posts. thank you Michael.
4/24 @ TI. new room to me. lost $220 in 5 hours as my biggest and STUPIDIST idea was in the BB i flopped a 10 high str. so i get "cute" as i am heads up with a player who has flopped 2 pair unknown to me so i slowplay the postflop and let the turn come with little betting by me and so now post turn my opponent has a full house and i paid dearly for my so sad play. but i deserved it as i should have gone in majorly in after the flop came. maybe my opponent would have called with 2 pair and i still would have been beat but it would have been easier to swallow if i have put some more $$ into the post flop bet. remainder of play was preflop raises,$10 or higher i get concerned, high pocket pairs not turning trips and 2 or more overcards coming on flops. 2 hands i saw a player had to catch runner, runner to achieve a flush and they did! glad i was not involved in those hands.
CARD DEAD IS AN EXCUSE!!!!! NOT ACCEPTED BY ME!!!
Day 2: slow morning as i am back in my room by 1 pm as i could find NO 1/2,1/3NL games @ ballys or TI. later finally found a 1/2 @ ballys and played for 4 hrs and lost $45,acceptable.

  1. I think it's fine to slowplay a flopped straight. You can't know he's got 2 pair. Once the board pairs, just be a little more cautious if bets get big, but I don't think it was a huge mistake really.
