Was in Vegas from 3/30/06 to 4/2/06.
Stayed at the Aladdin, as has been noted the casino is smaller than I remember due to construction. Also as noted in other posts, the poker room is in what I guess is a temporary location, just a roped off area in from of P.F. Chengs. It wasn't all that bad, I was annoyed once by some loud slot machines, just outside the ropes.

I played only 3-6 limit here, and did fairly well. I hit a high hand jackpot for $118, by making 4 queens.

I played one tourney at Aladdin, but didn't place.

I also played a fair amount at Paris, including one tourney. It was a decent room, although also a roped off area, I was never really bothered by much noise. Again mostly 3 - 6 limit, although I did play some 2 -4 on Sunday, because that was the only game going.

Saturday I went to the MGM, and played a $60 Sit-N-Go, I finished 2nd for $200 in prize money. Very nice room here, also very busy, but didn't have to wait long to get into the tourney.

Saturday night we went down town the Nugget, I had stayed at the Nugget 3 times before, and wish I had stayed there this time. I really like this casino, and this poker room. It isn't large, but it just has a nice intimate feel to it. They are also doing some re-modeling at the Nugget, and it should be even nicer in a few months. Played 3 - 6 and had a nice winning session.

Sunday I played some more at Paris, then we headed over to Mandalay Bay to hang out, before our flight left. The room is nice enought at Mandalay, but I stood around for several minutes before anyone acknowledged me, even thought it wasn't that busy. I played 2 -4 and it was by far the loosest table I had seen the whole trip, constant pre-flop raises, and re-raises with 6 - 7 people calling all the raises, I didn't like it at all. I doubt I will go back there.

I wanted to play at Bellagio, but just never got the chance to make it by there, maybe next time. Overall I totaled +$164 on poker for the trip, including all cash games, and the 3 tourneys I played. I'm hoping next time to play mostly 4 - 8, and maybe some 6 -12 limit.

I thought about playing some 1 -2 NL, but after watching some of the crazy plays being made on some of those tables, I just never tried it. Good luck all.
