Arrived in Vegas late afternoon 2/27 for 3 nights/4days of Fremont St Experience. Stayed at the Goden Nugett (great buffet!)

Started at Binion's playing 2/4 limit. Love this place...very old-school with alot of character. Won $55 in an hour before table broke up. Not a bad start. Got into a 2/4 limit game at the Golden Nugget and played until 3:00AM, donating my prevoius winnings.

2/28: Had read on this site about the Sit-N-Go tourneys offered at the Plaza, so I decided to check out the action (10:00AM start). Although 3 different levels are advertized, they were only offering the $35 buy-in (which seems to fit the majority of player's preferrence). Pays top 2 places ($225 and $75 respectively). Always seemed to have 2 tables going at once. Signed up for the next game and finished 3rd (close but no cigar). Signed right back up for the next game (which seemed to be a common practice as the week went on) and made to the final two. Was down severly in chips (9000 to 1000); joked with the chip leader that this was the last offer I'm gonna make to him for a split! Was getting my second place money about three hands later.

2/29: Back to the Plaza for more Sit-N Go action. Received what could be described as the deadest cards ever. Still managed to make it to the final 3 in the 2 games played; picked the wrong time to try and steal. Ended the day at the Plaza down $70. The dead cards followed me back to the 2/4 limit table at Binion's that evening. Gave up after losing $50, so I consoled myself at the Black jack table at the Fitz.

3/1: Same s**t, different day. Could even buy a pot. 2 Sit-N-Gos, 1 forth, 1 fifth place finsh. Entered the 2:00 tourney at Binion's. Nice tournament, well run; cards still sucked. Survived to about 20th place (out of 71). More drucken Blackjack and Let-It-Ride at the Fitz to finish the day.

3/2: Back to the Plaza. After playing the Sit-N-Go's for the past 2 days, I've noticed that about 6 players are what could be described as regular Sit-N-Go players. They're here from 10:00 to 5:00, one game after the other. Found myself in the final 2 when I was offered a split (guy had me 7000 to 3000), so he could get signed up for the next table. Jump on that with both feet and pocketed $150.

In summary, if you're a solid Sit-N-Go player on line, you should do well at these. Plaza does a good job keeping games going, and Management and dealers are very personable. Like to see more of these offered at other casinos.

FYI: Fitzgerald's has posted that a poker room is coming soon to their second floor. No dates given; just posted this past week.
