Stratosphere: Played one evening tourney and two morning tourneys here. Good card room. Undergoing a management change at the time, but still very well run. Friendly, competant dealers. Drink service excellent.

Sahara: Played the Saturday evening tournament. Card room was hot, smokey (in spite of being non smoking) and loud thanks to the roller coaster just outside the back door. Dealers were competant, but not friendly at all and were more interested in the football game on television than the tournament they were dealing. Drink service fair.

Luxor: Didn't play a tournament here, but played 2-4 limit. Would like to see the tournament offer more than $300 in starting chips. However, the dealers were competant and very friendly. The atmosphere was good here and it is a very well managed card room. We've been here before, and we'll be back. Drink service excellent.

Golden Nugget: No tournament here, but played 2-4 limit. Competant, friendly dealers in a well run card room. I like the location right next to the snack bar. Drink service excellent. I love being downtown.
