We spent 4 nights at the Orleans. We got a great deal on our rooms. This has to be the best bang for your buck hotel. Confortable beds, plenty of deals from the coupon book they give out, cheap gaming, good deals on food, and a really juicy card room. During our stay they were holding the Orleans open so the card room was moved upstairs with tables that didn't have shuffle masters. For low limits they always had 2-4 and 4-8 hold'em going and various NL tables I didn't really pay attention to. Also, usually had 4-8 limit omaha HL and 6-12 hold'em. ALL of the games I played in there were really juicy. Most of my profits were gathered here. I'll just focus on the other poker rooms I played at and skip the stories.

Aladdin: Small and not too much action. Didn't really like the dealers I had. I played some 3-6 limit and made 60 bones, then entered into their daily tournament for 60 and busted out pretty early. The structure was what you would expect for a small tourney like that and too quick for my taste.

MGM Grand: Very nice setup. The tables were very nice and had electronic boards to call chip runners, waitresses, and to notify the amount of seats available. The dealers were very professional. They were not very interesting, but were very good at dealing. The competition was about as good as it gets for 4-8 and at my friends 2-4 tables about as bad as it gets.

Overall vegas rules. I wouldn't mind living there or atleast having a casino close by so it didn't cost $15 and two hours of travel time just to sit in a card room. You can't really leave vegas without an interesting story or two.
