$65 10pm daily

I Played the $65 buy in 1k guarantee 10pm tournament on Sunday night. The tournament ended up getting 40 players and the final 5 ended up chopping for $400 piece.

This was my first live tournament ever so take my review as a grain of salt. After spending all day scoping out different casino's poker rooms, I ended on this one because it had a 10k starting stack as opposed to the flamingo's 5k starting stack for a $50 buy in tournament, and the blind levels were 20 minutes instead of the flamingo's 15. The chairs were comfy enough, and the table was fine too, no complaints there. Chips weren't the multicolored cool looking chips, they were the dinky solid colored kind, but whatever. Cup holders built into the arm rest. Waitresses were around for drinks about every 45 minutes but I only got some waters. The players were a mix of tourists and regs, everyone had alcohol flowing through them. This was my first tournament ever and I ended up being chip leader when we decided to chop. I just played my position and played real tight and ended up catching some good hands and winning some good flips. There's a bunch of tvs in the poker room and the tournament info was always displayed. Overall I had a great time. The dealers were really nice. Also, the philly cheesesteak at the spot next door was huge and really good!
