I stayed at the MGM Grand a few weeks ago hoping to play some poker during the day. The poker room was dead until about 15 minutes before the $70 sit and go tournament (11AM). I decided to play in it and see if a game started up after; no such luck. The tournament was ok; about 18 players, competition was easy to read. I don't consider myself a GREAT player; just solid and tight. Coasted to a top 3 finish. After the tournament no one was playing the cash game. I slid over to the poker room at Aria. Tables were full and played until about 3am. When I finally made my way back to MGM the poker room was closed. I'm not sure if it was just slow because it was a week day of if that was the norm.

I'm going back July 17-20 and will post again.
