  1. I used Copag for a long time but I found they didn't hold up very well. I have a few decks if Modiano. Thicker cards than other plastic brands. They turned out to be easier for my friends to deal. If you have a lot if home games it's worth investing in good cards.

  2. I use Bicycle Cards. Seem to work just fine.

  3. I run games and tournaments every week. My cards get a lot of use. I find that Kem cards hold up better than any cards I have ever used. Much better than copaq. Bicycles won't even make it through one day of hard play without being bent. You will find that the cost of Kems although around $27 a set up Is very cost effective. For a home game this set up used on a weekly basis should last at least 6 months.

  4. I like Kem cards. They aren't cheap, but they are durable for poker games, don't crease....and most poker rooms use them.

  5. I like Modiano. They are just a bit thicker than Kem or Copag and in my opinion feel better in your hand. I think any of the three are equally durable.

  6. Even for home games I found it worth it to spend a few more bucks on the good cards. Some of those I play with are pretty rough with the cards. Guys sit there contemplating their next move while they squeeze their cards. Paper cards would not last half a night.

Also you can wash the plastic cards after your friends get them dirty when eating.

  7. Yes kems are great cards. I also own j design which are really good with a better design

  8. Based on Dembolts' suggestion I ordered a set of JDesign cards. I am going to use them for the first time tonight. They come in nice packaging but the cards are narrower than other brands. I am a little concerned about how they will feel in the hand.
