I got a few extra hundred dollars lying around that wouldn't hurt me if I lost it all but are there any tips for first timer going to a poker room?

    Go join the lowest limit game sit down and donโ€™t play any hands and just watch how everyone else is playing.

    Realize that you are playing 125 hands an hour instead of the average 15 an hour in real life games. This is going to result in far more BIG hands. (Wins, bad beats etc.) Its not that the game is rigged like people are always claiming in the reviews. Rather, you are playing 5x the hands you would irl so more 5x the things will happen.
