Question, if a dealer flips the river card before the last player acted, yet 2 other players have already bet and called what is done with the flipped card? Does it stand or get re-shuffled?

The answer may actually vary from room to room. Or even floorperson to floorperson. But my guess is they would put the card back in the deck, reshuffle it, and, if after all the action is completed and a river card is still needed, the top card would be picked (which could conceivably be the same card as pulled originally).

  2. Yeah, it goes room to room. I'd recommend for standardized rules going to the Tournament Directors Association site - www.tdapoker.com. Good guide there.

  3. Very helpful, thank you!

  4. Fire the dealer. They have ONE job to do....

  5. It shouldn't go room to room, it should be standard for all rooms that use TDA rules. But yes, the card is taken out, reshuffled back into the remaining deck (burn cards remain where they are), and is allowed to naturally play as it was before the mistake. ... As for Duke's comment, I don't agree with him for this reason: players who mumble responses that are barely audible and those who are constantly fidgeting with their hands as if they were making a signal to check are mostly the cause of this happening, from experience. Also, dealers are human (they make mistakes), and some players are just slow and not very good at communicating in general.
