Seattle, Vancouver?

Hi All - I'm going to a 4 day business conference in Seattle next month and would like to get some poker in while I'm there. I know there are a bunch of small casinos in the Seattle area, but someone mentioned to me that I should also look at Vancouver.

So - where's the best spot for a 1/2 or 2/4 player to have some fun, maybe win a few bucks? Should I venture north to Vancouver? Stick to Seattle area stuff?

I also enjoy playing tournaments, big or small. I've played events at WSOP (finished just barely outside the money!), and lots of daily tourneys at various places.

I'm just looking for some advice as to what's nice in the area.

Thanks all!

  1. No casinos or card rooms in King County (Seattle) but nearby areas have multiple card rooms and a couple of local casinos. You'll need a rental car to get to them. Was in Vancouver 2 years ago and recall that there were 2 or 3 largish casinos accessible by mass transit. Seems to the driving to Canada is probably not worth it.

  2. Thank you for FINALLY putting boobs on an avatar picture. I haven't seen any on poker atlas yet. LOL. But I haven't played in Seattle or Vancouver yet so can't help you there. I'm sure some others will be able to.

  3. @GameChanger Glad you like the picture :)

  4. Check out the Tulalip website. It's about 30 - 40 minutes north of downtown. Always active with cash and tourneys.

  5. @billycanuck Thanks Billy. I had seen that one listed, as well as Muckleshoot, which looks like it's about 30-40 minutes in the OTHER direction. Any idea which one is better? Are there others worth checking out?
